ICAPE organizes international research conferences every 3-4
years. The most recent conference was held in June 2007 at the University of
Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah (USA). It featured about 180 participants from
20+ countries, 60 concurrent sessions, 3 plenary sessions,
2 conference lunches, a conference dinner, and a wine reception at the
University of Utah Museum of Fine Arts. The Department of
economics at the University of Utah provided extraordinary hospitality and
logistical support, helping create a
stimulating, collegial atmosphere conducive to exchange of ideas. Many
thanks to the conference planner, Robert F. Garnett (ICAPE Secretary),
and local coordinator Al Campbell, who played an enormous role in making the
conference a tremendous success.
